The year is 490 A.D. This is the story of Jack, a young, yellow-haired Saxon boy raised in a tiny British village. When a plague hits he and his friend Tom are forced to flee their homes. After killing the giant Oggmagog with a clever trick and rescuing Garis, a young knight of the Round Table in Camelot, Jack is sent on a mission to Albion, land of the giants, to retrieve the sword Excalibre from the evil, thieving giant Boltish and save the life of the dying King Arthur, and with him, the whole tormented land of Britain.
