Lovely and spirited Leora’s Brown’s religious faith will be challenged and her heart captured when she and her minister father move to the silver-mining boom-town of Wallace, Idaho Territory in 1890.  Handsome Englishman Edward Lycroft, a mine foreman with a secret past,  is equally swept away by the young woman.  But despite Leora’s attraction to him, she despairs of finding happiness with a man who doesn’t share her beliefs.   Can a minister’s daughter and an agnostic mine foreman find the strength and commitment they need to create a God-centered life together?  It will take more than one brush with tragedy to answer that question.
